I write to, for and about outcasts. It is a world I know well. I am not a theologian, a preacher, a teacher or a counselor, but I do have a theology. It is quite simple. God loves the wounded. That's it. That's enough. If we can ever master that then it will be time to move on to more complex issues.

I love prostitutes, addicts, cutters, punks, goths, the suicidal, the poor, the homeless, the unwanted and anyone else who has been kicked to the curb. These are people in need of affirmation, encouragement, hope, mercy and grace. It has been my mission since 1991 to use creativity as a healing tool.

The photos on the site were taken by my friend Anna. She is just now discovering that her camera can bring light into the darkest corners of our culture. The site has been stripped down to a minimalist presentation. I have neglected it for years and decided that it's time for a change.
